USA 95, COL 77
The USA Basketball Men's World Cup Qualifying Team earned a 95-77 victory over Colombia on Monday at Coliseo Elias Chegwin in Barranquilla, Colombia, in the second round and fourth window (six total) of Americas zone qualifiers.
Led by team strong play from World Cup Qualifying veterans John Jenkins, DaQuan Jeffries, Langston Galloway and David Stockton and solid defense, the Americans nabbed the win in the USA's first game in Colombia since 1982 FIBA World Championships in Cali.

TEAM NOTES
Group F: The USA (7-1) will remain atop Group F going into Window 5, scheduled for Nov. 10-14. The USA is set to host Brazil (Nov. 11) and Colombia (Nov. 14) with game times and location TBA.
Streak busters: The U.S. snapped a three-game Colombia winning streak dating back to Window 3 in July. Colombia entered the game riding wins over Chile, Brazil and Mexico.
Third is the word: The U.S. extended their 13-point (45-32) halftime lead to 20 (70-50) at the end of the third, outscoring Colombia 25-18 in the frame with an all-around group effort.
Shooting stats: On the night, USA shot 53.8% (35-65 FG) from the floor, 50% (17-34 3FG) from 3-point range and 88.9% (8-9 FT) from the line. Colombia shot 40.6% (26-54 FG) from the field, 30.8% (4-13 3FG) from 3 and 80.8% (21-26 FT) from the line.
For Window 4, the USA shot a combined 58.8% (77-131 FG), 50.8% (32-63 3FG) and 77.8% (14-18 FT). Against URU, the Americans shot 63.6% (42-66 FG) from the field, 51.7% (15-29 3FG) from 3-point and 66.7% (6-9 FT) from the line.
PLAYER NOTES
Dear John: Jenkins led the USA with one of the best performances by an American in World Cup Qualifying. Jenkins, who had a game-best 22 points vs. URU, tied the U.S. WCQ record with 26 points (9-16 FG, 8-14 3FG), including 15 in the second half. His eight 3-pointers set a U.S. WCQ record after he tied the mark with six vs. URU. He joins Cameron Reynolds (26 vs. PAN, 2/22/19) and Justin Jackson (26 at PUR 7/1/22) in the record books.
For Window 4, Jenkins averaged 24.0 points and connected on 14 3-pointers (14-21 3FG, 66.7%).
DaQuan and only: Jeffries carried momentum from his outing Thursday (Sept. 25) vs. URU (16 points) to Colombia where he contributed 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-7 3FG), including 11 (4-6 FG, 3-5 3FG) in the first half.
Galloway's our guy: For the fifth-straight WCQ game, Galloway scored in double figures. After going for 18 points vs. URU, he added 14 in Barranquilla.
Effective Eric: Eric Mika nearly recorded a double-double with seven points and nine rebounds (8 DREB), marking his personal-bests in three WCQ games.
