ÑUÑOA, Chile (July 3, 2026) – Both the USA Men’s and Women’s teams qualified for the 2026 FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup following the sixth and final stop at the 2026 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas North Conference on Saturday.
Staged in Ñuñoa, Chile, the circuit saw the United States amass a combined 34-1 clip against Puerto Rico, Chile, Canada, Argentina and Cayman Islands from June 27-July 3, with the USA men pocketing a perfect 18-0 record and the women going 16-1 over the seven-day stretch.
As a member of the Americas North division, the USA men and women competed in six ‘stops’ during the tournament. Each team played at least two contests during those stops, with the goal of topping their group and lacing up in the stop Final at the end each day. With enough points, a federation could officially qualify for the 3x3 U23 World Cup.
With the unblemished record, the USA men earned 600 total points by virtue of claiming 100 points for each title win. The women also finished atop the 2026 U23 Nations League Americas standings, collecting 570 points.
The USA teams were represented by Division I NCAA players. The USA 3x3 Women’s Nations League Team members were Sunaja ‘Nunu’ Agara, Imari Berry, McKinna Brackens, Dani Carnegie, Katie Fiso and Tori McKinney. The USA Men's squad included Hank Alvey, CJ Gunn, Kevair Kennedy, Pace Prosser, Eric Dailey Jr. and Brady Swartz.
The 2026 FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup is scheduled for Sept. 15-19, in Wuhan, China.
