COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (April 28, 2026) – USA Basketball announced today the four athletes who will represent the United States on the 2026 FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series starting May 1 in Chengdu, China.
USA Basketball’s roster includes Joyce Edwards, MiLaysia Fulwiley, Mikaylah Williams and Sahara Williams. Additional athletes may be added to the USA roster as the season unfolds.
The season begins Friday at the 3x3 Women’s Series Chengdu event in Chengdu, China. The American quartet is scheduled to compete in Pool D with matchups against the winner of Qualifying Draw B at 2:00 a.m. ET followed by Australia at 3:40 a.m. ET. The quarterfinals, semifinals and final are set for May 2 if the USA were to advance out of pool play.
The USA are slated to play at the 3x3 Women’s Series Manila May 6-8 in Manila, Philippines. Additional competitions expected to be added at a later date.
The U.S. roster brings a wealth of USA Basketball experience in both 5-on-5 and 3x3.
A standout for the South Carolina Gamecocks, Edwards was a member of the 2025 3x3 Nations League Team that went 14-2 en route to winning the Americas Conference title. She has three gold medals, with the most recent coming at the 2025 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup in Santiago, Chile.
One of two LSU Tigers, Fulwiley teamed with Edwards at the 2025 3x3 Nations League. She also participated in the 2025 USA Basketball 3x3 development camp in Phoenix.
Mikaylah Williams, also from LSU, has three FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup gold medals and MVP honors, helping win titles consecutively from 2021 through 2023. In 2025, she was a member of the 3x3 World Cup Team that placed sixth in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Mikaylah Williams played in the Women’s Series in 2025 as well. She also won a gold medal in the 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup.
Sahara Williams, an Oklahoma Sooner, played alongside Mikaylah Williams at the 2025 3x3 World Cup, in the 2025 3x3 Women’s Series and on two gold-medal winning 3x3 U18 World Cup Teams in 2022 and 2023.
