COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (Sept. 12, 2025) – USA Basketball announced today the teams set to compete at the 2025 FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup, held from Sept. 17-21, in Xiong’an, China. The USA men look to return to the podium following a second-place finish in 2024, while the women look to defend their title from last year’s event.
The men’s team features three players with NBA G League experience and one current collegiate athlete, while the women's team features three NCAA Division I athletes and one player with WNBA experience.
The 2025 USA 3x3 U23 Men’s National Team includes TJ Clark, Alex Fudge, Caden Pierce and Bryson Warren. The team will be led by head coach Christian Harbaugh (Slippery Rock University), who recently served as head coach of the USA 3x3 Men’s Nations League Team that finished first at the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas Conference in Punta Arenas, Chile.
The 2025 USA 3x3 U23 Women’s National Team features Taylor Bigby, Kaety L’Amoreaux, Zee Spearman and Serena Sundell. Head coach Julia Ford (Grand Canyon University) recently led the USA to a first-place finish at the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas Conference in July.
Clark and Pierce head to Xiong’an following their recent success representing the USA at the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas Conference, while Fudge returns for the red, white and blue after participating in the 2024 FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup. Warren will make his USA Basketball competitive debut after taking part in USA Basketball 3X Nationals with Net Gains in May.
On the women’s side, Bigby, Spearman and Sundell will look to build upon their momentum from 3x3 Nations League play, where they finished first in the Americas Conference. L’Amoreaux will suit up for the USA for the first time following her participation with Fairfield University at 3X Nationals.
The USA men will begin Pool D competition on Sept. 18 vs. Qatar at 6:20 a.m. ET and vs. Fiji at 8:50 a.m. ET. Pool play wraps up Sept. 20 vs. Latvia at 4:15 a.m. ET and vs. China at 8:50 a.m. ET.
The USA women will open Pool B play on Sept. 17 vs. Mexico at 10:25 p.m. ET, followed by a matchup with Philippines on Sept. 18 at 12:55 a.m. ET. Pool play continues Sept. 19 vs. Spain at 10 p.m. ET and concludes on Sept. 20 vs. Chile at 12:30 a.m. ET.
Following pool play, the top two teams from each of the four five-team pools will move on to the quarterfinals.

3x3 is played on a half court with a 10-minute clock and a 12-second shot clock. The first team to 21 points, or the team in the lead at the end of regulation, is the winner.
