LAUSANNE, Switzerland (Aug. 16, 2025) –. In their fourth FIBA 3x3 World Tour circuit in as many weekends, Team Miami pocketed a second place finish at the Lausanne Masters on Aug. 16 in Lausanne, Switzerland. Captained by 2024 USA 3x3 Men's AmeriCup gold medalists Henry Caruso, Mitch Hahn, James Parrott and Dylan Travis, Miami went 4-1 en route to a 4-point defeat against Ub (SRB) in the title game.
After going 2-0 through Pool Play Friday, the foursome laced up for their first test of the knockout against host Lausanne (Switzerland), which generated a raucous home crowd surrounding the Place de la Navigation at the iconic Lake Geneva.
The two crews traded hoops to knot the bout at 5-5 before Parrott and Travis piloted a 6-0 surge to push Miami ahead 11-5. Lausanne capitalized on one inside look to make it a 5-tally affair, but the Americans retaliated with another 7-0 barrage to essentially seal the victory 21-9.
With an opportunity to advance to the circuit’s championship match, Miami squared off against Liman (SRB) in the semifinals. The two squads battled throughout as Miami prevailed with an 11-9 win in an absolute grudge match.
In search of its first World Tour tournament title since April’s Utsunomiya Opener, Team Miami tipped off against 3x3 juggernaut Ub (SRB) in the championship. With six ties, the score see-sawed for the opening stretch until the box score read 7-7. Ub, however, quickly morphed the neck-and-neck affair into a 12-8 clash courtesy of proficient shooting from both the painted area and deep.
Travis and Caruso helped Miami claw back and cut it to two, 15-13, but the Serbians' size and ability to manipulate the Americans into foul trouble proved the difference. Ub ended the game on a 4-3 run to secure a 21-17 and fifth straight Masters title.
