The USA had a 28-18 lead at the end of the first period and, by halftime, opened up a 31-point advantage (68-37).
Wrecking Ball: The U.S.’s defense stayed true to its identity as it continues to be the strongest in the competition. Going into the quarterfinals, the defense leads the competition in points allowed (49.8), steals (19.8) and points off turnovers (41.3).
The red, white and blue have not given up a 20-point quarter this week (16 quarters) with China scoring just 9 in the fourth quarter for a total of five sub-10 quarters allowed in the tournament.
Party in the USA: The USA’s offense is a force to be reckoned with, having scored 100+ in three of four games, including 60-point first halves vs. Korea, Israel and China, and one 70-point half (2nd vs. Korea). Each time the U.S. has scored 100+ this tournament, the total points scored ranks in the top 10 all-time in U19 action (#1: 134 vs. KOR; #4: 122 vs. CHN; #9: 114 vs. ISR).
Through four games, the USA average 112.3 points (1st), 53.8% FG (171-318), 58.3 rebounds (1st), 27.8 assists (1st), 55.0 bench points (1st) and 35.0 fast break points (1st).

Davidson was one of six players in double figures for the U.S., including Sienna Betts (21), Saniyah Hall (19), Kate Harpring (15), Jerzy Robinson (13) and Addison Bjorn (11).
Flowers: Betts recorded her third consecutive double-double and second 20-point outing with game highs of 21 points (10-17 FG, 1-1 FT) and 10 rebounds, including 6 on the offensive glass. As a unit, the squad turned 24 offensive boards into 28 second chance points.
The Climb: The United States improved to 104-13 overall in U19 competition and have won 25 consecutive games, dating back to the first Group Phase win (79-56 vs. AUS) at the 2019 edition. The 25th win matches the USA’s previous U19 winning streak (last 3 games in 2011, 9 wins in 2013, 7 wins in 2015, 6 wins in 2017).
