COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (June 19, 2025) – USA Basketball announced today the 2025 USA Women’s AmeriCup Team roster following three days of trials in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The team will compete at the 2025 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup from June 28-July 6 in Santiago, Chile.
The roster was selected by the USA Basketball Women’s Junior National Team Committee.
The 2025 USA Women’s AmeriCup Team includes Raegan Beers, Mikayla Blakes, Madison Booker, Audi Crooks, Joyce Edwards, Hannah Hidalgo, Flau’jae Johnson, Gianna Kneepkens, Olivia Miles, Kennedy Smith, Hannah Stuelke and Grace VanSlooten.
The roster features six athletes who have claimed a gold medal as members of various USA Basketball teams, including the 2024 USA U18 Women’s National Team (Edwards, Smith), 2023 USA U19 Women’s National Team (Booker, Edwards, Hildalgo, VanSlooten), 2022 USA U18 Women’s National Team (VanSlooten), 2022 USA U17 Women’s National Team (Booker, Hildalgo), 2021 USA U16 Women’s National Team (Booker) and the 2019 USA U16 Women’s National Team (Miles).
Blakes, Booker, Edwards, Hidalgo and Smith played for the USA at the Nike Hoop Summit.
Beers, Crooks, Johnson, Kneepkens and Stuelke will be making their competitive debuts with USA Basketball.
Kara Lawson (Duke University) will serve as head coach with assistant coaches DeLisha Milton-Jones (Old Dominion University) and Jennie Baranczyk (University of Oklahoma).
The 2025 USA Women’s AmeriCup Team will open Group B with host nation Chile, followed by Colombia, Puerto Rico and Mexico. The full schedule is available here. The winner of the 2025 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup will earn a berth to the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup, set to be held in Berlin next summer.
Since the event’s inception in 1993, the United States has captured four AmeriCup gold medals, including titles in 2019 and 2021.
