COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (March 26, 2025) – USA Basketball announced today 45 athletes who will participate in the 2025 USA Basketball Women’s Junior National Team minicamp. The third annual women’s minicamp will take place in Tampa, Florida, from April 3-6 in conjunction with the 2025 NCAA Women’s Final Four®.
Minicamp participants will represent the high school graduating classes of 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029. Athletes and coaches were selected by the USA Basketball Women’s Developmental National Team Committee. In addition to on-court drills and scrimmages, athletes will participate in a series of educational presentations and attend the semifinal games on Friday night.
“We are excited to welcome this year’s talented USA Basketball Women’s Junior National Team minicamp participants,” said Briana Weiss, USA Basketball’s Women’s National Team director. “Congratulations to the young women invited. We look forward to seeing our returners as well as first-time players compete and grow together.”
The class of 2026 will be represented by Addison Bjorn, Brihanna Crittendon, Oliviyah Edwards, Autumn Fleary, Bella Flemings, Maddyn Greenway, Kate Harpring, Jayla “Jordyn” Jackson, Olivia Jones, Trinity Jones, Ashlyn Koupal, Lola Lampley, Isabella Ragone and Oumou “Mimi” Thiero.
For the class of 2027, Haylen Ayers, Jazman Bailey, Caroline Bradley, Ryan Carter, Harper Dunn, Khalia Hartwell, Eve Long, Ashley MacCalla, De’Andra Minor, Jemini Mitchell, Sydney Mobley, Micah Ojo, Qandace Samuels, Kaleena Smith, Nation Williams and Ivanna Wilson Manyacka will be in attendance.
The class of 2028 will see Makynli Bacon, Love Lei Best, Amel Cook, Sydney Douglas, JaKaila Gaskin, Tatianna Griffin, Jhaliana Guy, Jordyn Haywood, Belle Hill, Amy Nduka, Ella Peper, Morghan Reckley and Arianna Robinson present.
Jayden McClain and Carib Morris will represent the class of 2029.
The group returns 20 athletes with prior USA Basketball experience, 14 of whom participated in the USA Women’s U17 National Team trials in 2024. Bjorn, Lampley and Wilson Manyacka went on to represent the USA and win gold at the 2024 FIBA U17 Women’s World Cup in Leon, Mexico.
Fourteen of the athletes also partook in the 2024 Women’s Junior National Team minicamp in Portland.
Minicamp coaches include Monique Boykins, Bruce Dall, Nichole Dixon, Steve Gomez, Brittanny Johnson, Krystle Johnson and Brian Morehouse.
Boykins coaches at Cheltenham High School in Pennsylvania, where she led the Panthers to a 21-7 record in her first season as head coach. Dall, a five-time state champion as a coach, recently concluded his first season at the helm at Prairie High School in Iowa. Dixon coaches at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School in Georgia and captured her 200th career win as well as the 2025 GHSA Championship this season.
Gomez currently coaches at Lubbock Christian University and served as an assistant coach for the 2017 U16 National Team and 2018 U17 National Team, with both teams earning gold at their respective competitions. Brittanny Johnson serves as head coach at Evanston Township High School in Illinois and was an assistant coach for the U17 squad that took gold at the 2022 FIBA Women's U17 World Cup in Debrecen, Hungary.
Krystle Johnson is head coach at Hoover High School in Alabama, where she has led the Lady Bucs to five-consecutive state titles. Morehouse has served as head coach at Hope College for 29 seasons, guiding the Flying Dutch to two NCAA Division III Championships and 21 NCAA Division III Tournament appearances.
Boykins, Dall and Dixon are all set to make their USA Basketball coaching debuts.
