COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (March 21, 2025) – USA Basketball announced 65 athletes who will participate in a USA Basketball Junior National Team April minicamp from April 3-6 in conjunction with the 2025 NCAA Men’s Final Four® in San Antonio. The minicamp includes participating for select athletes in NCAA Next Generation on Sunday, April 6.
Minicamp participants will represent the high school graduating classes of 2026, 2027 and 2028. Players and coaches were selected by the USA Basketball Men’s Developmental National Team Committee. In addition to on-court drills and scrimmages, athletes will participate in a series of educational programs presented by USA Basketball and the NCAA focused on NCAA eligibility and education and life skills development.
“Attending this camp is a great way for athletes to continue their basketball development,” said Sean Ford, committee chair and USA Basketball’s Men’s National Team director. “We’re excited to be back in San Antonio with support from the NCAA and look forward great learning opportunities and memorable experiences for every athlete in attendance.”
On April 6, athletes will take part in intrasquad scrimmages including one at the Alamodome, site of the 2025 NCAA Men’s Final Four. Minicamp participants will also attend Saturday night’s semifinal games.
The class of 2026 attendees include Davion Adkins, JJ Andrews, Christian Collins, Jason Crowe Jr., Cameron Holmes, Caleb Holt, Taylen Kinney, Brandon McCoy Jr., Jalen Montonati, Adam Oumiddoch, Deron Rippey Jr., Jordan Smith Jr., William Stevens, Tyran Stokes, Kevin Thomas, Anthony Thompson, Cameron Williams and Elijah Williams.
The class of 2027 will be represented by Nasir Anderson, Beckham Black, Bruce Branch III, Devin Cleveland, Lincoln Cosby, Derek Daniels, Cayden Daughtry, Jarvis Hayes Jr., Tyrone Jamison, Jeremy Jenkins Jr., Malachi Jordan, Joshua Leonard, Chase Lumpkin, Jaylan Mitchell, Babatunde Oladotun, Jordan Page, Henry Robinson Jr., CJ Rosser, Taj Saragba, Griffin Starks, Tyler Sutton, Davion Thompson, Eden Vinyard and Darius Wabbington.
For the class of 2028, Ian Archbold, Josh Augmon, Dylan Betts, Logan Chwastyk, Mason Collins, Erick Dampier Jr., Devaughn Dorrough, Myles Hayes, Terrell Jackson, Bentley Lusakueno, Parker McDaniel, Kameron Mercer, Boss Mhoon, Jordan Mize, Will Nelson Jr., Brady Pettigrew, Skye Ragoo, Shalen Sheppard, Miles Simpson, Kevin Wheatley Jr., Michai White, AJ Williams and Quinton Wilson will be in attendance.
The group features 53 athletes boasting USA Basketball competition, training camp or minicamp experience. Holt, McCoy, Stokes and Smith Jr. won gold medals at the 2024 FIBA Men’s U17 World Cup, while Holt, McCoy, Stokes and Montonati helped the U.S. take home the FIBA U16 Men’s AmeriCup gold medal in 2023.
Of the returning athletes, 51 participated in the 2024 USA October minicamp, 17 in the 2024 April minicamp, 14 in the 2023 October minicamp, nine in the 2023 April minicamp and seven in the 2022 October minicamp.
Minicamp coaches are Dom Amorosa, Frank Bennett, Andrew Brewer, Scott Fitch, Nick LoGalbo, Robert Lucero, Joe Mantegna, David Peavy, Dave Rebibo, Jimmy Smith, Al Thiero, Larry Thompson, Sharman White and Allen Whitehart.
Fitch was recently announced as the head coach of the 2025 USA Men’s U16 National Team. He will be assisted by Bennett and LoGalbo at the 2025 FIBA U16 Men’s AmeriCup.
