USA WOMEN'S TEAM NOTES
Scoring Big: The U.S had five players score in double-figures. Mikaylah Williams (22), Hannah Hidalgo (13), Kamorea 'KK' Arnold (10), Sunaja 'Nunu' Agara (10) and Sahara Williams (10) finished with 10+ points.
Dynamic Defense: The USA recorded 36 points off 27 World turnovers. Hidalgo (5), Madison Booker (3), Jadyn Donovan (3) and Arnold (2) finished with multiple takeaways.
Keep it 100: The Americans scored 100 points in the win over the World Team. Since 1995, the U.S. men have scored 100+ points eight times.
Shooting Stats: The United States shot 38.8% (33-85 FG) from the floor, 50% (12-24 3FG) from 3-point range and 75.9.% (22-29 FT) from the line. The World Team shot 42% (29-69 FG) from the field, 30.4% (7-23 3FG) from three and 60.9% (14-23 FT) at the charity stripe.
USA WOMEN'S PLAYER NOTES
Money Mikaylah: Mikaylah Williams finished with a game-high 22 points (5-13 FG, 6-7 3FG), five rebounds and two assists in her eighth 5-on-5 game with USA Basketball. Tonight marked her first time scoring 20+ points for the USA.
Team Debut: Ashlynn Shade made her USA Basketball debut with three points (1-4 3FG) and one rebound. She was one of five U.S. players that finished with a +/- over 10 (+14).
USA MEN'S TEAM NOTES
Sharing the Wealth: Five players from the U.S scored 10-or-more points, including Ronald Holland (15), Isaiah Collier (11), Bronny James (11), Jared McCain (10), DeJuan Wagner Jr. (10) and Justin Edwards (10).
Defense Leads to Offense: The U.S scored 17 points after forcing 20 World turnovers. The Americans finished with 12 steals and outscored the World 14-7 on the fastbreak.
Now Boarding: The USA won the rebound battle 47-46. It was the work on the offensive glass that impacted the game. Nineteen offensive rebounds led to 20 second-chance points.
Running the PNW: The World led 70-69 with 7:56 to play in the fourth quarter. The U.S. went on a 6-0 run through the 6:38 mark to go up 75-70. The World would get within one point down the stretch but the U.S. never relinquished its lead and led by as many as seven points in the period.
USA MEN'S PLAYER NOTES
Stealing the Show: Holland finished with six steals, surpassing the event record of five takeaways previously held by Markelle Fultz (2016), Tyus Jones (2014), John Wall (2009) and Ron Artest (1997).
Hometown Hero: Local legend Jackson Shelstad put on a show in his home state. To go with his eight points and two rebounds in 16 minutes, the future University of Oregon Duck finished with the best +/- in the game with +16.
