The United States fell to Brazil, 79-94, ending the team's six-game win streak. The Americans never led in the contest.
The U.S. trailed at halftime, 34-58, due to some blistering shooting from the Brazilians who shot 61.3% (19-31 FG) from the field in the first half. The opponent continued their hot shooting in the second half and ultimately held the U.S. to under 80 points for the team's first time during World Cup Qualifying.

Now Boarding: The U.S. was outrebounded in the contest, 32-40. While the Americans pulled down 12 offensive rebounds compared to Brazil's seven, Brazil grabbed 33 defensive boards to USA's 20.
Free Throws: The U.S. was outscored at the free throw line, 10-18. The U.S. shot 66.7% (10-15 FT) while Brazil converted on 81.8% (18-22 FT) of their free throw attempts.

Lead-Man Langston: Langston Galloway led the Americans in scoring with 14 points (5-8 FG) and tied for the lead in rebounding with four boards. Chris Chiozza and Johnson also finished with four rebounds.
