COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (Sept. 9, 2026) – USA Basketball announced today the teams set to compete at the 2026 FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup, held from Sept. 15-19, in Wuhan, China.
The men’s team features two NCAA Division 1 and two professional players, while the women's team features four NCAA Division I athletes.
The 2026 USA 3x3 U23 Women’s National Team features McKinna Brackens, Dani Carnegie, Katie Fiso and Tori McKinney, who together won the 2026 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas North Conference in July in Ñuñoa, Chile. They will reunite with head coach Todd Monsey (Highland Park H.S., TX), who was at the helm in Chile.
In May, Carnegie, Fiso and McKinney participated in a USA Basketball 3x3 Developmental Camp in Phoenix and the subsequent USA Basketball 3X Showcase in Mesa, Arizona. Carnegie, Fiso and McKinney took home the 3X Showcase title – competing as Team Phoenix – after defeating Team Tempe 21-17 in the final. Brackens competed at the 3X Showcase with teammates from Arizona State, with the Sun Devils advancing to the quarterfinals.
The 2026 USA 3x3 U23 Men’s National Team includes Mark Armstrong, Eric Dailey Jr., Alex Fudge and CJ Gunn. The team will be led by head coach Tavaras Hardy (University of Missouri), who recently served as head coach of the USA 3x3 Men’s Nations League Team that finished first at the 2026 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas North Conference.
Dailey Jr. and Gunn, who made his USA Basketball debut, were teammates in Chile in July with the USA recording an 18-0 record over the six-day competition and ultimately qualifying the U.S. for the 3x3 U23 World Cup. Dailey Jr. has been a member of the USA Basketball family since 2019 and has gold medals from the 2021 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup and 2022 FIBA U18 Men’s AmeriCup.
Fudge, who has NBA G League and international professional experience, represented the red, white and blue in this competition in 2024 and 2025, winning silver in 2024. Armstrong will make his USA Basketball 3x3 competitive debut after participating in a 3x3 development camp in April. Armstrong, who most recently played in the NBA G League, won a gold medal alongside Dailey Jr. at the 2022 U18 AmeriCup.
The USA women and men look to return to the podium for the first time since winning gold and silver, respectively, silver in 2024.
The USA men will begin Pool D competition on Sept. 16 vs. Korea at 5:30 a.m. ET, Argentina at 8 a.m. ET and China at 9:15 a.m. ET. Pool play wraps up Sept. 18 vs. Lithuania at 6:45 a.m. ET.
The USA women will open Pool D play on Sept. 16 vs. Japan at 3:50 a.m. ET, followed by a matchup with Kenya at 8:50 a.m. ET. Pool play continues Sept. 18 vs. Slovenia at 5:30 a.m. ET and Australia at 8:25 a.m. ET.
Following pool play, the top two teams from each of the four five-team pools will move on to the quarterfinals on Sept. 19.

Launched in 2018, the men’s and women’s FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup pits the best under-23 3x3 talent against one another to fight for a chance at winning gold. The USA men are two-time 3x3 U23 medalists, taking gold in 2023 and silver in 2024. The U.S. women also own one gold (2024) and silver (2022) medal in the competition’s history.
3x3 is played on a half court with a 10-minute clock and a 12-second shot clock. The first team to 21 points, or the team in the lead at the end of regulation, is the winner.
