COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (July 21, 2026) – USA Basketball announced today 2026 USA Basketball 3X Week, which will be held July 25-31 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. The week will feature a 3x3 men’s development camp along with three FIBA 3x3 Quest-level tournaments.
The expected lineup of teams for 3X Week will feature FIBA 3x3 Pro Tour teams including Team Miami and Team Phoenix, as well as Ball so Hard (MEX), Chile (CHI), Los Angeles (USA) and Princeton (USA). The field will also feature a pair of teams made up of athletes participating in the development camp.
Three tournaments will be played over the course of the week, including a Lite Quest on July 27, a two-day Quest July 29-30 and a one-day Quest on July 31. Winning teams will receive bids to higher level FIBA 3x3 Pro Tour competitions, with the July 27 winners qualifying for the FIBA 3x3 Kaohsiung Challenger, July 30 winners qualifying for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Hong Kong and July 31 winners qualifying for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Malaga.
A USA Basketball 3x3 men’s development camp will be held leading up to tournament play. USA Basketball 3x3 development camps are an opportunity for athletes to hone their skills in a competitive and educational environment.
Expected to participate in the development camp are Isaiah Brown, MJ Iraldi, Matt Mooney, Max Murrell, Briante Weber, Calvin Williams IV, Robert Woodard II and Najeal Young. Two four-member teams for tournament play will be created from development camp participants.
The development camp will be led by veteran USA 3x3 coaches Christian Harbaugh and Jimmy Smith.
USA Basketball 3X Week will serve as an evaluation for selection to future USA Basketball 3x3 opportunities.
Different than 5-on-5, 3x3 is played on a half-court with a 10-minute game clock and 12-second shot clock. Play is continuous, as teams “clear” the ball behind the 2-point line following a made basket, defensive rebound or steal. The first team to score 21 points via 1-point field goals or 2-pointers behind the arc is victorious; or if time expires then the team leading wins.
