MANILA, Philippines (May 8, 2026) – The United States ran the table at the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Manila to capture back-to-back stop titles for the first time since the Americans began on the pro circuit in 2019. The red, white and blue capped off their seventh straight win in Manila with a 17-15 overtime victory over Lithuania in the final.
After two entertaining days of basketball, the final delivered a captivating finish. The United States faced Lithuania, who was also unbeaten in Manila to this point. Like the Americans, the Lithuanians had been dominant, winning by at least six points in their four wins.
Lithuania dealt the first round of blows, jumping out to a 5-2 lead. The USA clawed their way back to tie it up at 9-9 before taking a 12-10 lead with just minutes to go. The Americans looked like they had it won at 15-13 before Lithuania’s Kamile Nacickaite-van der Horst banked home a deep 2-pointer to force overtime.
Back-to-back buckets from Joyce Edwards and Mikaylah Williams in overtime was enough for the Americans to emerge victorious. Mikaylah Williams was named the MVP after finishing with six points in the final. She averaged 7.4 points in Manila, while also leading the field in highlights per game and total player value.
