USA Basketball 3x3 women’s development camp will precede 3X Showcase
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (May 5, 2026) – USA Basketball announced today the 2026 USA Basketball 3X Women’s Showcase will be held May 9-10 at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Arizona. The tournament will feature eight teams vying to be crowned 3X Showcase champion.
The expected lineup of teams for the 3X Showcase features NCAA Division I women’s programs of Arizona State University, Fairfield University, Kansas State University, Stephen F. Austin State University and South Dakota State University. The field will also feature a pair of teams made up of athletes participating in the development camp.
Preliminary games tip on May 9 with bracket play beginning May 10. The full game schedule will be updated here. The 3X Showcase is free and open to the public.
The USA Basketball 3x3 women’s development camp will be held May 6-8 in Phoenix. USA Basketball 3x3 development camps are an opportunity for athletes to hone their skills in a competitive and educational environment. The camp is highlighted by under-23 women’s athletes, four with previous USA Basketball experience.
Expected to participate in the development camp are Imari Berry, Mikayla Blakes, Mara Braun, Nyla Brooks, Dani Carnegie, Katie Fiso, Ava Heiden, ZaKiyah Johnson and Tori McKinney. Two four-member teams for the 3X Showcase will be created from development camp participants.
The development camp will be led by veteran USA 3x3 coaches Todd Monsey and Julia Ford in addition to Jonneshia Pineda and Joi Wiliams, who are making their USA 3x3 coaching debuts.
Both the 3X Showcase and 3x3 development camp will serve as an evaluation for selection to future USA Basketball 3x3 national teams and other opportunities.
Different than 5-on-5, 3x3 is played on a half-court with a 10-minute game clock and 12-second shot clock. Play is continuous, as teams “clear” the ball behind the 2-point line following a made basket, defensive rebound or steal. The first team to score 21 points via 1-point field goals or 2-pointers behind the arc is victorious; or if time expires then the team leading wins.
