PORTLAND, Oregon (April 3, 2026) – Nike Basketball announced today that Ethan Mgbako (Haiti) and Paul Osaruyi (Canada) have been add to the World Select Team Men’s roster for the 2026 Nike Hoop Summit.
Mgbako is the brother of two-time Nike Hoop Summit participant Mackenzie Mgbako. Osaruyi competed on Canada’s U17 team in the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup and is currently playing for CIA Bella Vista in the Nike EYBL Scholastic League. Mgbako and Osaruyi will be replacing Maximo Adams (Argentina) and Sayon Keita (Mali), who will no longer be participating.
The World’s top talent will face off against the top American talent in the 17th Nike Hoop Summit. The event will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, and will stream live on Peacock. The women's game will tip off at 4:30 p.m. PT/7:30 p.m. ET with the men's game tipping at approx. 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET. Tickets are on sale now by clicking here.
As previously announced, the 2026 World Select men’s roster also includes Ikenna Alozie, Tajh Ariza, Adam Atamna, Arafan Diane, Sinan Huan, Lucas Morillo, Miikka Muurinen, Baba Oladotun, Miles Sadler and Abdou Toure.
The men’s team will be led by coach George Zedan of Mexico.
The women’s roster will showcase Emma Broliron, Sitaya Fagan, Emilia Krstevski, Eve Long, Jada Lynch, Ogechi Okeke, Sara Okeke, Kathy-Emma Otto, Jovana Popovic, Savvy Swords, Olivia Vukosa and Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka.
The women’s team will be led by coach Jillian Harmon of New Zealand.
USA Basketball previously announced the USA rosters for the 2025 game. The Nike Hoop Summit has been held annually since 1995, except for 2001-03 and 2020-21, and has been in Portland since 2008.
