COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (July 19, 2025) – USA Basketball announced today the men’s and women’s 2025 USA 3x3 Nations Leagues teams set to compete at the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas Conference July 21-27 in Punta Arenas, Chile.
The 2025 USA 3x3 Women’s Nations League Team features five current NCAA Division I athletes, including Taylor Bigby, Joyce Edwards, MiLaysia Fulwiley, Zee Spearman and Rachel Ullstrom. Serena Sundell, who recently graduated from Kansas State University, will round out the women’s roster.
In May, Bigby, Edwards, Fulwiley, Spearman and Ullstrom participated in 2025 USA Basketball 3X Nationals in Mesa, Arizona, with Fulwiley and Spearman winning the women’s tournament with team Chaos. Fulwiley was named the women’s MVP of the event.
Each member of this year’s women’s squad will be donning the red, white and blue for the first time in FIBA 3x3 competition. Edwards, who is coming off a recent gold medal at the 2025 Women’s AmeriCup in Santiago, Chile, has also won gold at the 2024 FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup and 2023 FIBA U19 Women's World Cup. Bigby, Fulwiley, Spearman, Sundell and Ullstrom will make their USA Basketball competitive debuts.
Julia Ford will serve as head coach after participating as a coach at the 2025 USA Basketball 3x3 development camp in Phoenix in April.
The 2025 USA 3x3 Men’s Nations League roster includes Trevor Baskin, TJ Clark, Jacob Harvey, Caden Pierce and Ryan Prather Jr.
Harvey and Pierce, who currently play together on Team Phoenix on the FIBA 3x3 Men’s Pro Tour, return to 3x3 Nations League play where they competed at the 2024 FIBA 3x3 U23 Nations League Americas Conference. Baskin, Clark and Prather Jr. will represent the United States for the first time.
Christian Harbaugh, who served as an assistant coach at the 2024 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas Conference and is currently head coach of Team Phoenix, will be the head coach for the men’s team.
The 2025 FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas Conference will feature six three-game tournaments over seven days. The competition will run in a ‘stops’ format, with multiple stops held over the course of the weeklong event. Teams will accumulate points based on their performance in each stop. Team members can substitute as needed for each day’s four-person entry.
The FIBA 3x3 Nations League will be a qualification route to the FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup 2025. Conference winners will qualify for the event, set for Sept. 17-21 in Xiong An, China. China men and women will receive automatic qualification along with the reigning champions (Germany men and USA women). The rest of the teams will come from the winners of each conference and the next teams in the FIBA 3x3 Nations League 2025 final standings.
The 2025 FIBA 3x3 Nations League will stream live on the official FIBA3x3 YouTube channel.
3x3 is played on a half court with a 10-minute clock and a 12-second shot clock. The first team to 21 points, or the team in the lead at the end of regulation, is the winner.
