USA Advance to FIBA U16 Men’s AmeriCup Gold Medal Game with 106-68 Win Over Puerto Rico

The USA (5-0) defeated Puerto Rico (3-2) 106-68 in the 2025 FIBA U16 Men’s AmeriCup semifinals in Juarez, Mexico, advancing to the gold medal game for the ninth time at the event – the most of any country.

Following the win, the U.S. moved to 9-0 against Puerto Rico and 48-0 all time in FIBA U16 Men’s AmeriCup play.

The USA will take on the winner of Canada vs. Venezuela in the finals tomorrow at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Postgame Notes

Tonight, Hiller (23 points), Mason Collins (11) and AJ Williams (11) were the 10-plus point scoring reserves for the USA. Landslide: Entering the 2025 FIBA U16 Men’s AmeriCup, the USA has an average margin of victory in the tournament’s semifinals of 43.0 points.
