BAODING, China (April 13, 2025) – The USA’s Team Miami made their return to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour for the series’ 2025 rendition with a third-place finish at the Baoding Shi Challenger to commence a year’s worth of pro series events.
Four members of Team Miami made the journey to Baoding, China for the two-day affair — Mitch Hahn and Trey Bardsley as returners from the 2024 edition of Team Miami, Henry Caruso joining the elite squad after two seasons with the Team Princeton and Andrew Kelly in his USA Basketball competitive debut. Dylan Travis, a 2024 USA Olympian, and James Parrott will rotate into the four-member squad throughout the 2025 season.
Team Miami went undefeated on Saturday in pool play with wins over Ermont Senef (FRA) and Barcelona (ESP). On Sunday, Team Miami topped Skyliners (GER) in the quarterfinals before falling short to Shinagawa (JPN) in the semifinals.
Team Miami finished the weekend totaling 80 points, putting up the highest average points per game of any team in the tournament with 20.0 per contest. Hahn wrapped up the weekend as the Challenger’s overall leading scorer with 30 points in four contests. Next up, Team Miami will compete at the Utsunomiya Opener (April 26-27).
