MESA, Arizona (April 8, 2025) – USA Basketball announced today the 2025 USA Basketball 3X Nationals will be May 2-4 at Arizona Athletic Grounds (AAG) in Mesa, Arizona. The event will feature up to 12 men’s and 16 women’s teams, including some of the best 3x3 players in the country, vying for national titles.
“We are excited to partner with Arizona Athletic Grounds to host the USA Basketball 3X Nationals,” said Jim Tooley, USA Basketball CEO. “With the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 on the horizon, we are looking forward to welcoming 3x3 players, both veterans and those new to the game, to Mesa to compete in this exciting event that features a unique style of basketball.”

3X Nationals will tip off May 2 with preliminary round men’s and women’s games and will continue through Sunday’s medal round games. Teams will be seeded based on preliminary records before entering bracket play.

3X Nationals will serve as an evaluation for selection to various future USA Basketball 3x3 men’s and women’s national teams, including the 2025 FIBA 3x3 World Cup, set for June 23-29 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and roster spots for USA Basketball 3x3 World Tour, 3x3 Women’s Series, 3x3 U23 Nations League and 3x3 U23 World Cup teams.
Played on a half court with a 10-minute clock and a 12-second shot clock, the first team to 21 points, or the team in the lead at the end of regulation, is the winner.
