The USA (5-1) completed 2025 FIBA Men's AmeriCup Qualifying with a 105-83 win over the Bahamas (2-4) in Nassau on Sunday night. With their win over Puerto Rico on Thursday, the Americans clinched a spot in the 2025 FIBA Men’s AmeriCup, which will take place August 23-31 in Managua, Nicaragua.
Following the victory, the USA moved to 4-0 against Bahamas in FIBA AmeriCup Qualifying play. The red, white and blue have averaged a 25.3-point margin of victory in their four AmeriCup Qualifying matchups versus the Bahamas, with their 105-point outburst tonight marking their highest point total in those games.
Postgame Notes

Block Party: The USA registered 11 total blocks in the victory, with Robert Baker II recording a 2025 FIBA AmeriCup Qualifying single-game record 7 blocks off the bench, while Williams added 4 blocks as well. Baker II’s 8 total blocks across just two games played in the AmeriCup Qualifying window were the most among USA players.
