USA Basketball Gold Camps, which debuted in 2019, focus on fundamental skill development through station work, group drills and competition and leadership sessions centered around the USA Basketball culture. The camps are designed for athletes that demonstrate skills in line with the advanced level of the USA Basketball Player Development Model.
Participants train and receive coaching to improve their skills, game play and character on and off the court. Gold Camps are a place for young basketball players to get better by competing with and against top talent from across the country. USA Basketball representatives will attend camps to evaluate the development level of all participants for potential future involvement.
Athletes interested in attending a Gold Camp must submit an application proving their advanced-level skills mastery, accolades and a letter of recommendation. If selected, the cost to register for Phoenix and Omaha is $185. Registration includes one meal and Nike/USA Basketball jersey, shorts and backpack.
The Pittsburgh Gold Camp is $265 per camper and includes more court time, three meals, additional USA Basketball gear and a player report card.
USA Basketball staff will review all submitted applications and reply to each submission. Applications will be approved on a rolling basis through the deadline or as capacity permits.
