COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (Dec. 19, 2023) – The Nike Hoop Summit returns to Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday, April 13, 2024. The 25th edition of the event features a men’s and women’s game of the top American high school athletes facing off against a World Team of top international players 19-and-younger. Tickets for the 2024 Nike Hoop Summit are now on sale at www.usab.com/tickets.
“The Nike Hoop Summit has long been a marquee event to showcase the USA’s top young basketball talent,” said USA Basketball CEO Jim Tooley. “We are looking forward to a doubleheader that will feature future stars in the NCAA, NBA, WNBA and beyond. The games will air live on FS1. The women’s game will tip at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT with the men’s game set for approximately 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT.
The 2023 Nike Hoop Summit saw USA rosters filled with the top recruits in the country. The inaugural women’s team, who defeated the World 100-79, featured Kamorea “KK” Arnold, Hannah Hidalgo and Mikaylah Williams. The American men earned a 90-84 victory over the World and were led by Isaiah Collier, Justin Edwards and Ron Holland.
An impressive 287 Nike Hoop Summit men’s alumni have been drafted into the NBA with 15 being selected No. 1 overall and 92 in the top 10. A total of 37 NBA All-Stars have appeared in a Nike Hoop Summit men’s game, including 2023 NBA All-Stars Jaylen Brown (2015), DeMar DeRozan (2008), Kevin Durant (2006), Joel Embiid (2013), De’Aaron Fox (2016), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (2017), Jrue Holiday (2008), Kyrie Irving (2011), Jaren Jackson Jr. (2017), Nikola Jokic (2014), Julius Randle (2013), Jayson Tatum (2016) and Zion Williamson (2018).
Coaching staffs and rosters for the 2024 USA and World teams will be announced at a later date.
