COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (March 28, 2023) – Selected from more than 200 applicants, the USA Basketball Foundation has awarded 10 students full scholarships to attend the USA Basketball Women in the Game conference on Thursday, March 30, at the Erik Jonsson Central Library in Dallas. Scholarships, valued at $2,500, include travel, accommodations and conference registration. The scholarships are made possible by a donation from Peter Robert Casey, co-founder and CEO of JDS Sports.
Women in the Game inspires young women to pursue careers in the sports industry. The daylong conference features speakers from a variety of fields who share their journeys and keys to success. Attendees network with like-minded peers and are eligible for longer term mentorship opportunities. For more information or to register, click here.
