COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (March 22, 2023) -- USA Basketball today announced its first three Open Court locations, presented by Nike, for the 2023 season. More dates and locations will be announced through the spring and summer.
The youth development programming will head to Coatesville, Pennsylvania; Kearney, Nebraska; and Maryville, Tennessee. Locations, dates and times can be found below.
The goal of USA Basketball’s Open Court, which operates for 10 sessions in each city, is to connect children to the game of basketball in their communities by offering the opportunity to play for free in a fun, safe and developmentally appropriate environment.
Children choose how to engage in the sport through free play, such as skill games, five-on-five, 3x3 and station options during their designated age-based time slots. All programs are operated by USA Basketball licensed coaches.
